Window & Siding Outlet Free estimate ↗

COLORADO WILDFIRE RESILIENCY CODE

Start with your address.
Then choose the products.

Before replacing windows or siding, confirm which wildfire requirements apply to your property and planned work.

Discuss your project ↗

Local requirements matter.

Your building authority can confirm the applicable local code, mapped area, and requirements for your project. A city name or mailing address alone is not enough to make that determination.

Use the current guidance from your building authority, including Larimer County building codes when that county administers your property. County requirements do not establish the rules inside every nearby municipality.

Questions before ordering.

Who administers this address?

Confirm the city or county building authority using the property address, including whether it is outside municipal limits.

Does the planned work trigger requirements?

Describe the actual replacement or alteration scope. Ask which requirements apply and what permit documents are needed.

What product documentation is required?

Request the accepted glass, frame, siding, and assembly specifications. Ask the supplier for documentation for the exact configuration.

What belongs in the estimate?

Include the selected products and relevant installation details so the scope can be compared with the authority's requirements.

Check more than the label.

Do not assume every product from a brand meets a wildfire requirement. Tempered glass is not automatically a fire-rated window assembly, and a siding material alone does not establish compliance for an entire wall.

Bring written requirements to your estimate. We can discuss window and siding options while your building authority confirms acceptance.
